Let's get physical!
I hope you all had a nice week. In my last blogpost, I told you about my run in Pointe-Aux-Trembles, where we stopped by a park. Well I went back to the same park this week, to try their street workout installations. I don't know if these structures were brand new, but it sure looked like it. No graffitis, mint condition... Perfect! I like that they even had instructions on how to use the workout stations correctly, with pictures of the movements and how to execute them safely.
It's a great alternative to the gym, it's free AND outside! What else could you ask for?
For this aerobics workout, I wore my Loko Flutter tank top. I really love this tank top because it's stylish but practical at the same time. I have no problem to wear this item with my skinny capris and some high heels, as well as to the gym. Again, I applause for the lenght of this tank top: no lower back or belly showing during my workout. Yesssssss!!
PROS: There is a hidden bra inside the tank top to give you a better support. This tank is also made to absorb sweat to the outer layer of the fabric in a second.
With this top, I also wore my Loko Ribbon Mesh Capri leggings. These leggings are the latest trend in athleisure. The mesh on the sides are not just for a fashionable aspect, it actually gives the illusion of a longer leg as well. This is the same brand as the top, so these two item matched perfectly.
PROS: Like the top, these leggings will absorb sweat very quickly for your comfort. They are also very soft, stretchy, AND you cannot see your underwear through the fabric (which is always something to look for, when you know you will stretch and/or bend in your workout).
In the meantime, go explore the parks around. You might find some street workout installations. If you do, try it! I'm sure you will like it as much as I did! Let me know.
Next week, I will share my experience with Yoga.
